Welcome to the big show. As I’ve said time and again, the details matter. And that applies to the basic stuff as much as the big ones.
I realize that I’m talking to a guy who signs legal documents with a marker, but there are basic things you need to get right. Hire a copy editor, for crying out loud. Google something before you hit Ctrl+P. There are no fewer than twenty sets of eyes that see any public document before it leaves my office. You’re literally in charge of the whole place, put some basic checks in place. This shit is embarrassing.
When we can’t even get this stuff right, it’s no wonder we can’t ensure appropriate implementation of E.O.s or make sure there’s sufficient intelligence in place before we put American lives in harm’s way.
